The video, "Climbing to Hollyburn Peak - 2004" is a good introduction to viewing historic Hollyburn photos because it helps connect our 'present' experience on the mountain with photos taken decades ago. We hear the sounds and see the colourful alpine landscapes that the photographers of long ago experienced.
Browse our photo galleries featuring people, activities, events, heritage buildings and landscapes connected with Vancouver's North Shore mountains. Since 1998, many individuals and families have lent us their valuable photo collections and albums which have been scanned and returned. To date, HHS has over 6000 digital images stored in its archives.
Hollyburn Heritage Society is very interested in locating and scanning your photo North Shore mountain photos. HHS will add digital copies of your photo scans to its archives. (Ultimately, copies of our digital photos will be given to the West Vancouver Archives.) The original photos will be returned to you along with a copy of the photo scans stored on a CD/DVD. HHS is also interested in viewing and possibly copying home movies and video taken on Hollyburn.
